Maia Kheladze

INTRODUCTION:

Maia Kheladze serves as the Chief of Payments and Operations at JSC HashBank. She is actively involved in education and delivers a banking course for bachelor's students and an e-commerce administration course for master's students at Ilia State University and Business and Technology University, respectively.
Possessing a Master of Business Administration degree, she currently pursues her Ph.D., which will focus on how AI affects payments and county’s GDP per capita. Her extensive experience in diverse leadership roles within the banking industry equips her with the essential knowledge and insights crucial for advancing the banking and fintech organizations.
Maia Kheladze led a number of important payment industry projects throughout her experience. This includes introduction the first contactless (Visa PayWave) card in CEMEA region; setting up card acceptance network across whole country; e_commerce and m_commerce development, coordinating social projects with bank cards, that made Visa/Mastercard card and therefore International financial services accessible to everyone in everyday life.
